Availability
The
transport system runs to full capacity on Thai holidays.
Planes and buses are packed during December and January.
Book at least four days ahead as trains get filled up fats
in high season. Check your travel dates against Thai
festival dates. Ferries to Phi Phi Island can be crowded on
these days. Make sure you reach the pier early for a seat.
Note: The Chinese New Year is very busy especially in
Malaysia and Singapore; book ahead for routings south.
